Shari's Update
I just want to let you know that it is with heavy heart, that after January, I will no longer be the editor of Thrifty Boutique Jewelry. Due to that fact, our last weekly contest was Jan. 17.
My decision to stop writing for the blog stems around my realization that I just have too much on my plate at this point to handle; my family, my jewelry company, my hopefully soon flamenco dancing again, and my recent extensive back surgery and recovery. I loved writing as it was something I never thought I would, or could do. And I did it for over a year, 5 reviews/per week. It was around 266 reviews. Wow, that’s a lot! I “met” so many amazing and talented and very dedicated designers for those 14 months. I loved getting to know them all. As well, I know we have an awesome readership following, so keep reading this and Thrifty Boutique
Thrifty Boutique Jewelry blog will continue in the meantime with Rosie as the editor. She is the main editor of Thrifty Boutique blog as many of you may know and the one that got it all started.
If you have any questions or just want to say hi, feel free in the comments section.

Rustic Relics

Sarah Smith, of Rustic Relics has a unique spin on jewelry design. As a graduate in art, her photography eye and mixed media collage art skills have translated into lovely pendant designs. A relaxed style jewelry for the person who appreciates fine art, these affordable pieces are like wearing a masterpiece on your neck.

Janna Conner

Janna Conner is an inspiration for me. I appreciate her variation in design and materials in her jewelry. I am a big fan of her variation in styles that fit everyone’s lifestyle. Apparently other fans include Madonna, Debra Messing, and The Olson twins to name a few.

Freshie and Zero

The organic feel of the sterling silver pieces at Freshie and Zero, make them really unique. Some of the pieces are sterling alone, but I appreciate the addition of semi-precious stones in just the right amount to compliment the design of the piece, not to take away from it.

Thrifty Boutique Jewelry Contest #14

How do I play? How do I play?
Thanks for playing this week! We have a winner.
Answer all 3 questions correctly and be the first person to submit your entry to jewelry@thriftyboutique.com. Make sure you put a correct return email so we can let you know you won as well as a postal address to send the prize to. (We use your address for only the purpose of sending you your prize, none other. We don’t keep your addresses.)
You can only win once in a 3 month period.
The questions are based on jewelry designer reviews from the past (Jan. 8-14) so that’s where you’ll find the answers.
What did I win? What did I win?
Silverworksdesign.ca is donating the Onyx Orbit Necklace. It’s a hand shaped sterling silver wire frame with a gorgeous onyx disc orbiting inside the frame. Each one is always individual and will come with an 18" Italian rolo chain. The retail value is $60 canadian.
Here are the questions:
1. What is the price of the ‘Asian inspired earrings’ of KT Collection
2. “The highlight is the gemstone” in whose line?
3. Whose line is known for one-of-a-kind spoon pendant necklaces?
